Wales covers all eight preserved counties from Anglesey and Gwynedd in the north to Pembrokeshire, Carmarthenshire and the Glamorgan coast in the south. Coverage takes in Cardiff, Swansea, Newport and Wrexham alongside the rural inland counties of Powys and Ceredigion. The mountainous geography means longer haul distances to licensed transfer stations in mid-Wales, and operators will sometimes quote a delivery surcharge for addresses more than a 30-minute drive from the depot. Permit lead times follow each council's own bylaws and typically run 3 to 7 working days.
